Complaints & Appeals Guide: Your Rights as a Certified Client
International Maturity Company (IMC) is committed to handling all complaints and appeals in a fair, transparent, and impartial manner. This procedure ensures that clients and interested parties have a clear process to raise concerns or challenge certification decisions.
The Procedure, Step by Step
- Submission: Complaints or appeals must be submitted in writing to the IMC office, with detailed information about the issue or certification decision and the reasons for the appeal.
- Acknowledgment: IMC formally acknowledges receipt of the complaint or appeal and informs the complainant of the next steps.
- Initial Review: An initial review determines whether the complaint or appeal is valid and within the scope of IMC's procedures.
- Investigation: If valid, IMC initiates an investigation, which may include reviewing documentation, interviewing relevant parties, and examining the certification process.
- Decision: Following the investigation, IMC makes a decision regarding the complaint or appeal, with a detailed explanation of the decision-making process.
- Communication: The decision and any corrective actions are communicated promptly to the complainant.
- Resolution: If the complainant accepts the decision, the process concludes. If not, further steps may include escalation to a higher authority within IMC or referral to an external body.
- Record Keeping: IMC maintains records of all complaints and appeals, including actions taken and final outcomes, to ensure accountability and continual improvement.
