Certification Process Stages
IMC follows an internationally recognized certification cycle, from application review through to certificate issuance and ongoing surveillance:
Application Review
Review scope, sites, employee count, and certification requirements.
Contract Review
Prepare a quotation and certification agreement.
Audit Planning
Appoint competent auditors and schedule the audit (an optional pre-audit is available).
Stage 1 Audit
Review the documented management system and readiness for Stage 2.
Stage 2 Audit
Verify implementation and effectiveness of the management system in practice.
Nonconformity Review
Verify corrective actions for any audit findings.
Technical Review
An independent review of the audit package before the certification decision.
Certification Decision
The certification manager/committee approves or rejects certification.
Certificate Issue
Issue the ISO certificate, normally valid for 3 years.
Surveillance Audits
Periodic audits every 6-12 months to confirm ongoing compliance.
Recertification
A full reassessment before certificate expiry, starting a new 3-year cycle.
